It's official

I finally got accepted into Canterbury today! Which is very exciting because:
1. That's a big part of why I started this blog
2. I haven't signed up for a room and/or classes for next year
3. ....because it's England! :]

I will have another post either later today or tomorrow with the very few pictures I took while in Texas a couple weeks ago. I hopefully will be taking another trip there this summer, but we'll have to wait and see.

I go in Wednesday to pick up an acceptance packet, and I'm not even sure what's in it.

Also, Postsecret's Frank Warren is coming to my college to talk about stuff and I will hopefully be getting him to sign a copy of my book since I love when I can get my books signed...even though it's happened twice.

Housing

So, housing keeps contacting me to sign up for a room, but I'm not suppose to. I'll probably call them tomorrow/today and ask them about what to do. It's just annoying.

But anyway, I am flying to Austin from Chicago saturday afternoon to go see my sister. We're suppose to talk tonight about what we are doing so I know what to pack, but regardless, I'm sure it will be awesome. Very excited for the warm weather and no school.

ALSO - I can hopefully bake a bunch over my Spring Break so I can post pictures on here. :]

waaaaiting

I called and asked when I would find out if I got approved or not and she said I have to wait until April! OH JEEZ! So, I guess I just don't sign up for a room here for the fall...I hope I get in or else I'll be homeless! haha

In the meantime, I am going to Texas for part of my Spring Break, so I will be taking pictures and all that good stuff. Hopefully I will be able to post an entry or two while I am there.

Sooo. It's happening.

I turned in my application and the girl said the only reason I wouldn't get approved is because of my GPA...which wouldn't be a problem at all. :] Very exciting. I can't wait to hear from them so I can buy my ticket and plan out everything I want to see.

Application

I am going to turn in my application to study abroad in England tomorrow. I'm really hoping I get approved, although I'm not sure why I wouldn't. I'm still nervous.

Does anyone know a good way to pay for things? I currently have a debit card that works internationally, but it takes money out every month to keep it. My mom suggested getting a credit card just for the time while I'm there. The credit card seems to be the best option right now, unless some has something better! =)

Traveling

Ever since I went to France 2 years ago, I knew traveling was going to be something I would want to do for forever. I am currently applying to study abroad in England this fall and can not wait to just explore. Whether I am flying somewhere far, or just driving an hour to camp, I want to have it all.
